We are hitting the road with our new book Cupcakes, Cookies, and Pie, Oh My! You probably know by now that this book is a lot more than cupcakes (although our favorite treat-cupcakes-is still the star). We have taken our cupcake skills and applied them to pies, cookies, brownies, cheesecake, and even rice cereal treat. This month's What's Newsletter features one of the rice cereal treat projects, perfect for hitting the road, a sk8er cake!



The cereal treat is tinted before being shaped into the stripes. The entire board gets a coating of chocolate underneath for stability, and we use cookies for the trucks to support the wheels.
