Monterey Delish Cupcakes

Here I am on my busman's holiday loving the Aquarium and eating
fantastic cupcakes at a brand new cupcake bakery. The banana w cream
cheese frosting and the Oreo cupcake were both incredible. Light
delicious cake and dreamy frostings. We'll be back for more later.

      We did do a monkey. It was in our first book Hello, Cupcake! It was a part of a Big Top Circus project. We used oh shaped chocolate cereal for the ears and M&M Minis for the eyes. The head was covered in chocolate jimmies and he had a pink area around the mouth for his muzzle. Mouth, nose and eyebrows were piped from frosting. To see a photo of it go to the blog archive and look under animal cupcakes, it was posted on 2/22/2008.
