Cupcakes too pretty to eat? Hardly!

Folks are always telling us our cupcakes are too pretty to eat. Well
that wasn't so for these two adorable cupcakers at our Cary NC event.
They made pretty posie cupcakes using marshmallows and colored sugars,
and once they had giggled and admired their handiwork they posed for a
photo and pretended to eat them. The cupcakes survived the ordeal
because they wanted to take them home and show them to their family
and friends. You guys wre especially sweet cupcakers. Thanks for
coming to our event.

Hi guys! I need help with a flip flop shoe cupcake or sunglasses cupcake. Any ideas what to use? I thought of a circus peanut for the flop flops. If you have an idea, please help me. Thanks so much! I love making your cupcakes.

Circus Peanuts upside down would make a great flip flop. Maybe trim it down so it is not too thick. You could use licorice lace for the straps. For sunglasses you could melt chocolate and pipe little glasses from it. Or you could try shaping the licorice lace into frames and use a Smartie or other small hard candy for the lens. We made really cute sunglasses for our white water rafters using chocolate M&Ms for the lenses and then piping a line around the chocolates and off to the sides for the frames. Hope that helps.

      Happy cupcaking,
