Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes, a new challenge!
Here is the latest challenge from the Hello Cupcake Club.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Cupcakes! Make our cookies or make your own recipe for your favorite cookie. We think Ginger Snaps, Chocolate Chunk, Oreos, and Peanut Butter Cookies would all make great cupcakes.
We took a regular cupcake and frosted it with vanilla frosting, then we added the chocolate chips chunks, and nuts on top for our favorite chocolate chip cookies. Last we rolled the top in cookie crumbe to give it that cookie look. What a great after school snack or bake a batch for the whole class.

I love cup cakes but everytime I try cooking some, I messed up. I could't get that taste that I am looking for in a commercial one.

Seriously, try Duncan Hines and use the recipe in Hello, Cupcake! for doctoring the mix. We think they are delicious. Our new book What's New, Cupcake? will have recipes for all new doctored cake mix too. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

What do you mean by "cookie crumble"? What do you use?

We used crushed graham crackers and have also used ground vanilla wafers. It is up to you what flavor you prefer. Any plain cookie with a color and flavor you like can work. Have fun.
