Birthday Chocolates for your Cupcake
Kim sent us this terrific looking version of our Valentine Candy. We love the way she took the frosting drizzle and made that the centerpiece of her candy designs, that's smart cupcaking!

I thought I’d send a photo showing you the box of chocolates I made for my husband for our anniversary. I’m the kind of person who likes it to look exactly like the picture I see so I was pleasantly surprised with how easy they were to make and how well they turned out. I wasn’t able to find much in the way of red, white, and pink candy or hearts so I mostly just used the frosting and sprinkles to decorate with. The most difficult part was looking for heart shaped candy box in August! The guy at the local candy store had pity on me and let me buy a box with only a few chocolates (instead of filling it up) so that I could get what I needed. Thanks for the fun idea!
And thank you Kim for sharing them.
All the best and keep on cupcaking!

Hi-- I should have told you I blogged about my corn on the cob cupcakes this week! I posted a photo, too, and I promoted the book, because it's great!
