Chef Cheryl Strikes Again

Hi Karen/Alan~

Last night, I made the corn cupcakes and owl cupcakes.  For the owls cupcakes I had a little trouble opening the oreos so the creme stayed on one side of the cookie only, but the good news is that I was able to fix them by simply adding a little bit of white frosting to the oreo to fill in any missing creme.  I am pretty proud of these projects and will continue to practice until I have a few projects that I can do quickly and that come out great every time.

Let me know what you think of these...

Regards,
Cheryl

This time Chef Cheryl's cupcakes are a real hoot! We love them Cheryl.

In answer to Cheryl's note about how to keep the cream center from falling apart when you separate the two side of the Oreo, Karen has been known to zap the Oreo cookie in the microwave for just a second or two to soften the center and then pull the Oreo apart, leaving the cream filling intact on one side. Try it, it really works!

Keep on cupcaking!
